OPP Crisis Response Continuum

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

1. Identify the role of Crisis Call Diversion and Mobile Crisis Response Teams in diverting individuals experiencing crisis, including but not limited to mental health and/or addiction-related issues, from the justice system and acute care settings.
2. Apply the stages of police-hospital transition into practice settings (I.e., psychiatric or other health facility).
3. Recognize opportunities to reduce barriers between the justice and health sector to better support individuals who come in contact with police when experiencing crisis, including but not limited to, mental health and/or addiction-related issues.
