RAAM Clinics
A rapid access addiction medicine (RAAM) clinic provides care for people with concerns related to substance use. Most RAAM clinics provide care without requiring an appointment or referral, offering information, medication, counselling, harm reduction education, and connections to other services based on each client’s individual needs and goals. Each clinic determines its own hours of operation and staffing, and care may be provided in person or virtually. There are nearly 100 publicly funded RAAM clinics across Ontario.
